About the Author:

Robert Cooper, FRACP, DDU, is a staff physician in nuclear medicine at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, Australia. He also works in private practice at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital and at Dee Why Nuclear Medicine also in Sydney. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and holds a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound. As part of his Nuclear Medicine training, he completed a fellowship at the University of Michigan.

Stephen Allwright is a consultant in nuclear medicine at Mater Misericordiae Hospital and at Dee Why Nuclear Medicine in Sydney and is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He completed his nuclear medicine training with a fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and holds a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound.

Jock Anderson is a radiologist specializing in sports medicine imaging. He is MIA Associate Professor at the University of New South Wales in the Sports Medicine Program and consultant for the MIA Group. He was Director of Medical Imaging at the Sydney 2000 Olympics and will be Coordinator of Medical Imaging for the Rugby World Cup 2003. He has authored two previous books on sports medicine imaging.
