“Kathryn Smith weaves a heart-wrenching tale of love lost and found that satisfies the soul. Don’t miss this one!”
New York Times bestselling author Sabrina Jeffries

USA Today bestseller Kathryn Smith follows the success of When Seducing a Duke with When Marrying a Scoundrel—the second book in her sexy Victorian series centered around a group of wealthy and powerful patrons of London’s most prestigious house of pleasure. Romance superstar Lisa Kleypas says, “Smith writes with spectacular passion and flare” and Sherilynn Kenyon promises that, “Kathryn Smith never disappoints”—high praise that is more than supported by this breathtaking story of a beautiful fortuneteller whose heart is thrown into disarray when the dashing former conman she wed unexpectedly bursts back into her life.

From the Back Cover:

A lady must be prepared for anything . . . when marrying a scoundrel.

Sadie Moon once thought she was in love. Then her dashing husband left her to seek his fortune, and she had no choice but to transform herself from a heartbroken waif into London Society's favorite fortune-teller. But even she could not have foreseen Jack's return—until their paths cross in the last place either would have expected: London's most exclusive house of pleasure.

Now wealthy and successful, Jack Friday has everything he'd ever dreamed of . . . except Sadie. He swears he will never trust the woman who broke her promise to wait for him, though his passion for her burns as hotly as ever before. But love, like the past, comes back to haunt them—drawing them into a web of intrigue and betrayal that could save or destroy them both.

About the Author:

Kathryn Smith has always loved happy endings. From the bedtime stories her wildly imaginative mother told, to the soap operas she wasn't supposed to watch, Kathryn loved to speculate as to how the characters would end up. Needless to say the entire Smith household heard about it when things did not go as young Kathryn thought they ought. Through her school years, Kathryn wrote stories and books for her friends to read. Even during college, when she studied journalism, her need to make up her own tales often drove her to late nights at the typewriter, writing about sexy men and the women they fell in love with. Fortunately, Kathryn's idea of sexy has changed over the years. Instead of rock stars and spies she writes about lords and...well, spies. The best part is she gets to share these stories with a few more people than were in her homeroom class!
