About the Author:
Nick Danziger was born in 1958. In 1982 he was awarded a Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellowship to follow ancient trade-routes. Out of his experiences came his first book, the bestselling `Danziger's Travels'. His photographs have appeared in newspapers and magazines worldwide, and he has made three series for Channel 4, which feature his photographs: `Postcards from the Edge', `The Fight for Hearts and Minds' which was nominated for the Grierson Award, and `The Establishment'.
